Poetical humors | les inAttendus
The Shakespeare year (2016) was the occasion of the birth of all kinds of creations to honor the memory of this atypical playwright. In its own way, the duo les inAttendus also rubbed shoulders with it, expanding and multiplying the sounds of this rich and astonishing English music, melancholic as well as joyful. To forge this precious link between yesterday and today, Dowland, Hume, Bull and Gibbons meet Thierry Tidrow and Philippe Hersant. Inspired by this ancient time, they give us their personal and therefore current "look" on it.
Works by Tobias Hume, John Dowland, John Bull, Orlando Gibbons and premieres by Tierry Tidrow (2016) and Philippe Hersant (2017).

« Both accordionist Vincent Lhermet and Marianne Muller have a fine sense of the idiom of this 17th century chamber repertoire. This CD is a testimony to the fact that fine musicianship and a feel of idiom can transcend the mere mechanics of HIP performance. »
Early Music Review, D. James Ross, 2019.
« Une musicalité partagée et un phrasé chantant les unissent constamment... Les notes vivent, enflent et diminuent, se dilatent avec passion ou s’évanouissent tristement ».
